Kaeng Krachan National Park Reviews

Kaeng Krachan National Park Thailand's largest and least-explored park covers almost 3000 sq km of vergreen and mixed deciduous forests along the Myanmar border in Phetchaburi Province. Bisected by the Tenasserim Range, the park serves as a major watershed for upper southern Thailand. Several streams and rivers feed the Kaeng Krachan Reservoir, the largest among them being the Mae Nam Phetburi and Mae Nam Panburi. For hikers and compers who venture into the interior, the wildlife - especially gibbons and hornbills-is superb. The best time to visit is between November and April.
